Overview

At Day Kimball Healthcare, we work hard to confront cancer well before any diagnosis of this challenging disease. Working with your primary care provider (PCP), we provide a wide variety of cancer screening services, as well as risk assessments including genetic testing. See your PCP to determine which services are appropriate for you. Your PCP can then provide a referral for you to have these services performed at Day Kimball Healthcare. Don't have a PCP? Screening Tests

Genetic Testing

If you have a strong family history of a particular cancer your PCP may suggest genetic testing to see if you carry abnormal genes that make you more likely to develop cancer. For people with high risk, genetic testing can be an important and very informative piece of the cancer screening process. If testing shows that you do carry a genetic predisposition for a certain cancer, we can offer you counseling and guidance on the options available to you to reduce your risk.
